Stanford Le Hope Festival

Next weekend is Stanford le Hope’s festival. If you have nothing planned then get down here for the day, and if you have plans – cancel them and then get down here for the day.

On Saturday 3rd of July, they are having a music festival with live bands all day, next to the Crooked Billet pub in Billet lane. The bands are varied – Blues, Rocks, Mod/Ska and Classic Rock. If you love music, then you need to be here.

I must mention The Heaters they are playing from 9pm, get there early, they have a cult following in Essex and the place will be packed out.

On the Sunday (4th of July), King Street is closed and there is live music, entertainers and singers. All of  the shops contribute to making this a fantastic family day out.

  • Live music
  • Elvis
  • Bouncy castles
  • dancing
  • baby competition
  • Dog show
  • hog roast
  • Indian food

It really is a great day for the family, and if you have done so much you can take a breather in St Margaret’s of Antioch. This is Stanford le Hopes church, it’s a Norman looking building with beautiful, tranquil grounds. If you like looking at medieval architecture this is fab, totally fab, and if you go inside (ignore the modern technology)  have a look at the the stained glass windows.

So if you are bored in Essex, with nothing to do at the Weekend, you need to be in Stanford le Hope.

PS did I mention on Sunday the festival is being opened by Woody and Buzz Lightyear?

Meet Doug Richards Ipswich 10th June

Low Cost Fast Growth Marketing- Ipswich June 10
In this seminar, serial entrepreneur and investor Doug Richard digs deep into advanced online marketing tactics: the essential lessons that every entrepreneur needs to understand. Finding fast growth, effective and affordable channels to reach customers is critical to any business; but especially so for growing businesses during a recession.
The event is particularly exciting  as tickets to this event are a bargain £10+ VAT per head due to ECIF (Economic Challenge Investment Fund) funding. In order for delegates to meet the criteria for these discounted tickets the only necessary requirement is that they live or work in the Suffolk or Essex area.
Wooo – Hooo that includes Essex :)
See me there? If you fancy a coffee after, just let me know.
